Here are some of the sites I visit frequently.
I've learned lots of neat tips and tricks from the folks over on the
MIMF forum. The forum is run on a
donations basis and they collect some funds from their links to advertisers.
Great bunch of folks and they are more than willing to answer your questions
. Even the "new builder" questions. This forum is run by Deb Suran, and I
think it has been since its inception. Thanks Deb!
Here is the latest forum I've found. It is called the
Official Luthiers Forum. This
one is a great bunch of guys that are mostly luthiers. There are a few
newbies on this one as well. This forum does not place as many restrictions
on things like pricing information. The forum is run by Lance Kragenbrink,
who is quite a talented builder. There's information here that can be used
by those new to building as well as those who have been at it for a while.
Thanks Lance and Brock for a great site!

to check out their symposium, it's coming up soon.
Check out Byron Berline's Doublestop
Fiddle Shop in Guthrie Oklahoma. From time to time, you can see one of
my guitars for sale there.

is a local organization for pickers of all types and skill levels.
Check out Frank Ford's site for all the
repair info you'll ever need.

luthier tools and wood.
Try out Luthiers Mercantile for a good
